Her weight dropped 30 grams... No one is concerned. She just started on the breast yesterday so 30 grams is not so bad. She is definitely doing a great job... The mechanics of the transaction are there we just need some more volume.

don't be discouraged, it took jonathan jr about a week to gain weight. mostly because they took him off the iv nutrition and he lost a lot of water weight. they actually ended up putting him on an ng tube and as soon as he gained one gram and maintained it they threw us out..... then he gained a pound and a half in a week while at home, and got off the ng tube in about 4 days. i know how much you want her to gain that little bit so that you can take her home and have her all to yourself.
