Got here and she had a warmer on her foot. Which is what they do before a foot prick to draw blood.
We brought this to the attn of the nurse. She said oh yeah and then acted like it was a bog deal to draw from a central line... She got one syringe and then the other wouldn't draw so she ordered the foot stick anyway and then said she needed to talk to a dr about the heparin. This is despite the surgeon telling them to do it this am!!'
For those of you that have urged restraint we hear u and will endeavor to chill.
