Getting old (day 10)


I woke up the Am with a terrible Charlie horse. Now before you guys start In on me about drinking more water and eating banannas ... I have probably been doing more of both that I have ever done in the last 10 days... Yesterday I held Bayta a lot and drank ice water the whole time.

I think I am just getting old. Sigh.

  1. Darick, I have charlie horses all the time in my legs esp at night time- solution- tonic water with quanine in it - Works everytime!!!
    get the Canada Dry kind!! I know it doen't taste very good but it takes care of it.. must have the quanine...

  2. I use to get them all the time when I was pregnant. Someone told me that if you had someone pull your big toe it really helped. It seemed to work in my case :).

  5. Darick, if you are tired of bananas, raisins actually are higher in potassium and less fattening than bananas. Quinine infused water is good...bitter, but good and can help...you can also buy just the quinine tablets (would also help if you ever decide you might want to try say, malaria, for your next blog site)...But then again, your potassium may be fine...It's not like you haven't been standing on your feet more than usual, walking more than usual (especially pacing the floor, where I am quite sure there is now a permanent path imbedded), and under a whole lot of stress which can all lead to leg cramps...Hope this helps a little...Love to you all....Jacque
